I couldn't agree more - the more we listen to the voices our our students the more likely we will find truely authentic ways and ideas for creAting both a modern curriculum and engaged communities ... Future focussed curriculum is possibly through the eyes of the people?

Cheryl refreshing to read your blog this evening. I sincerely believe that we have so much to learn from student voice. During the times we have asked individuals and groups of students their thoughts on directions we might be taking or how things are going for them, it has caused urgency. It has made us sit up extremely straight at times and re think the direction to take. Amazing too how teacher practice can be shifted through the valuing of student voice far more significantly that another adult mentor or coach. Will look forward to your next blog entry after your conversation.
